Is this a comeback?

Wow has it really been 2 years since I've written anything on here? Yes, yes it has :/
I sincerely apologise for my absence (for anyone who reads my blog)... I've got 3/4 posts in my draft that I've been meaning to amend and post but it just didn't feel right?? If that makes sense. I know anything I say now will just sound like a lame excuse but I genuinely just did not have the energy or motivation to keep this going. 2019 was just an awful awful year and every inspiration or ambition I had just flew right out the window... but it kinda ended off pretty well.. or at least better than I expected.
The beginning of 2020 started off great and I'm truly thankful for it! Although so many things were happening around the world, I managed to go out (by out I mean travel) and take a breather. Only to come back to things taking a turn for the worse (which is what the current situation of the world is) but it's okay. It's a learning journey.
Anyhoo, I will not be talking about all that because it's just all over the news right now - so I will talk about something more lighthearted, and wholesome?? I don't know. At least it's not so negative. Hopefully it gives you hope that when all this is over, you'll go out there, travel the world, see places with brand new eyes, open heart and just embrace the experience.
I would like to say that I'm proud of myself for making it through 2019, going through all that and actually travelling to take a breather really helped to put things in perspective. Also, with what's going on in the world now it made me appreciate that trip more and to really count my blessings no matter how small they may be. I have never been more grateful.
Things I've learnt:
1. When things get tough, take it and let it shape you to be someone better than you were before. 2. It's okay to disappear and take time for yourself. No matter how long.
3. Life is short, take that vacation!
4. Learn to appreciate life more.
5. Love fully. 6. Be grateful.
Till then.
